Also available are fundraising T-shirts from Briar's Patch Sled Dogs, as Liz raises funds to get the team to Alaska and the finish line in Nome next March. More Updated Guest Amenities Featured at the Lodge

For our 2007 summer season (Memorial Day weekend through early October) we are offering a "Comfort Food" self-serve dining option in addition to the full breakfasts and to go lunches (by request) we provide. Sometimes guests don't wish to head out to a local restaurant for dinner: whether due to a late arrival, little ones or 4-leggers in tow, a tiring day hiking and enjoying the area, or simply the desire to relax and lose yourself in our vistas. We are now offering a self-serve meal in-house dining option. We are providing the best available packaged portions of a variety of satisfying meal offerings from vendors such as Schwan's -- all you do is select the one(s) you want, reheat in our guest microwaves, and enjoy! Meal portions are packaged and priced individually, and on an honor system sign out sheet so the charges are simply added to your guest room bill for your added convenience. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options available, as well as individual portions and family sized meals. Don't forget to get a frosty mug of beer or soothing glass of wine to complement your casual dining experience. Dessert items also available.

New for 2007 -- New Guest Beds! Over the last couple of years we have provided new towels, pillows and bed linens throughout the Lodge...now it's the turn for the beds themselves! We are in the process of replacing all the beds in the Lodge with new mattresses and box springs, to ensure your rest is every bit as enjoyable as your days' adventures. Relax, sleep, recharge!

We also have new guest breakfast menu which we're quite excited about, and we think you will be too! As always, breakfast is available when YOU want it, just let us know the night before!

Crystalwood Lodge also has new staff joining us for the summer season. Lori Pedretti is a school teacher in Wisconsin who will have a very interesting story to tell her students about what she did on her summer vacation. We truly appreciate her midwestern humor and hard work, and know you will too. Also joining us is Anna Blinova from Russia, as a Work and Travel visa program participant. Anna is a math major who is looking to do further studies at university in Europe, thus signing up for the work and travel program as a way to earn more income over the summer. This is her first trip to the United States, so please welcome her to our great country!

Fishing and hunting guide services are available through Crystalwood Lodge featuring the local expertise and professionals of Roe Outfitters or the guides of your choice -- just ask and we will work with you to set up the perfect fishing or hunting vacation. Roe also provides guided trips for a wide variety of other outdoor adventures including jet boat trips on Upper Klamath Lake, Lava Beds caving, white water rafting, birding and more. We'd be glad to make reservations on your behalf to have an adventure which will make your stay here in the Upper Klamath Basin even more memorable!
